Cards engage learners’ matching, memory, and word/picture recognition
skills. Learners practice alphabet skills as they match uppercase and
lowercase letters to photograph clues.

Set
includes six fun and easy-to-follow activities:
See and Say: Look at
each picture and say what it shows. If you aren't sure, remember
to ask for help. When you can name them all you're ready for more
games!
Sound Sets: Set aside
the five vowel cards: A, E, I, O, U. Lay the consonant cards with
pictures up. Say what each is, and match two pictures that start
with the same sound.
Letter Sound Match:
Sort cards into two piles: capital letters and small letters. Turn
the capital letters picture sides up and the small letters picture side
down. As you name the pictures, match each one to the letter of
the sound you hear at the beginning. Play again with capital
letters picture sides down and small picture sides up.
Letter Pair-Up: Turn
all cards picture sides down. Match each upper-case letter to its
lower-case partner.
Alphabet Lines A - Z:
Arrange the capital letters in A-B-C order from left to right in a long
line on the floor. Have fun doing the same with the lower case
letters!
What's Missing:
Make an A-Z alphabet line with your cards. Close your eyes and ask
a friend to take away one card. Open your eyes. Which letter
is missing? If you guess right, give yourself one point.
After you score three, give your friend a turn at guessing!
