AIM OF THE GAME:
To be the first player to place his/her game pieces on all seven
Home Base circles.
HOW TO PLAY:
-
Assemble the
game board and place it in the center of the playing area.
Make sure the game cards are facing in the same direction, insert
them into the card box and place the box next to the game board.
Each player takes one set (11 of the same color) of game pieces.
The youngest player is the first and play continues in a clockwise
direction.
-
The first
player rolls the die and proceeds as follows:
a. If a 3, 4, or 5 is rolled, the player slides the first
card out of the card box, through the slit in the box's end, until
that quantity of figures is showing. For example: If a 4 is
rolled, the card is pulled out to reveal 4 figures, while 2 remain
hidden. The card may be pulled out from either side of the box
at the discretion of the player. The card box should be
positioned so that all players can see the exposed figures.
Using the figures (or clues) showing, each player tries to determine
what the sixth figure in the sequence will be and places one of
his/her pieces on the corresponding figure on the board. When
a figure on the board is covered by a playing piece, no other piece
can cover it, so players must think and choose quickly. Once
everyone has played, the card is removed from the box revealing one
of the circles in his/her home base (seven circles on his/her side
of the board). All other pieces are removed from the board and
returned to their owners to be used again. The used card is
turned over and placed at the back of the pack, thus enabling the
use of the other side once its turn comes up again.
b. If a * (star) is rolled, the player pulls the card out
until just the first figure is showing. All the players
simultaneously try to guess what the sixth figure in the sequence
will be and place on of their pieces on the corresponding figure on
the board. When a player places his/her piece, he/she gains
control of the figure and during that round, no other piece can be
placed on that figure. Once everyone has played, the card is
pulled out until the second figure is showing. All players
again try to guess what the last figure on the card will be.
Players may place a piece on any untaken figure or stack up on a
figure already covered during the previous round, by any player.
Only one piece may be placed on any figure during each round of the
turn. This procedure is repeated through the third, fourth and
fifth figure on the card. Once everyone has played their fifth
piece, the card is removed revealing the sixth figure. All
pieces situated on that figure may be moved to the circles of their
home bases. All incorrect pieces are removed form the board
and returned to their owners to be used again. The used card
is turned over and placed at the back of the pack, once again
enabling the use of the other side, when it comes up again.
-
Play continues
in a clockwise direction as per the rules above.
