stock. Briny Baby Picture cards encourage your young child to handle and
explore each card. The enclosed parent guide contains dozens of
suggestions to ensure your child hours of educational fun.
As your child begins working with numbers, it is important to provide
him/her with many opportunities to count everyday objects around your
house. Encourage your child to count the toes on his feet, the fingers
on his hands, the cookies on his plate, etc. This will help your child
to understand that the number "5" means the same thing, whether it is
fingers, toes or cookies. Once your child has had many hands-on
experiences in counting real objects, you may try any of the following
activities with your child. These activities are any suggestions, and we
encourage you to be creative and flexible in working with your child. We
do suggest that you keep your child's learning time brief and that you
praise your child for his or her efforts.
If your child seems to be losing interest in an activity, simply put
away the cards and try the activity another time. Above all, enjoy your
