BUMP - The Sneaky Numbers Game
Win chips or take them from other players by adding or subtracting to
reach certain amounts. Watch out for players with Bump, Super Bump, and
Bump Back cards, or you'll pay the price! A fun game that enhances math
skills.
Is a
simple game of addition and subtraction with a UNIQUE twist. . .
the BUMPING ACTION. When someone is BUMPED they get setback.
So throughout the game everyone is BUMPING one another in pursuit
of acquiring the 10 chips necessary to WIN. This BUMPING ACTION
stimulates lots of player interaction which leads to loads of FUN.
Once BUMPED players are very tempted to want to regain the chips
that were once theirs and maybe even more in order to WIN the game.
Unpredictable, YES! The
rotation of the game can change on any turn, going left to right, right
to left or even across the table. BUMP WARS evolve when players go back
and forth with one another in an attempt to gain the most chips by using
a combination of BUMP NUMBERS, ACTION CARDS and PAYOFF NUMBERS. Great
FUN! And SNEAKY. . . sure! You never know what cards your neighbors
hold, with the ACTION CARDS adding the elements of luck and surprise to
the game.
With every turn, players
will have up to 6 numbered cards to chose from
to discard onto the COUNT PILE, thus mentally they will have up
to 6 additions to do prior to playing their card.
We use both POSITIVE and NEGATIVE numbers cards, thus the kids
will have to subtract negative numbers from the total of the COUNT PILE.
This also allows the COUNT PILE to go up and down and makes the
total less predictable with each turn.
Throughout the game, besides the laughter, all you will be hearing are
the calculations being called out . . .“20 plus 20 equals 40, . . . 40
plus
3 equals 43, . . . 43 minus 5 equals 38”!
Strategy! Play the right card to reach the payoff totals
(0,25,50,75,100) and win money!
Fun! Play the right card to reach the BUMP TOTALS (33,66,99) and
acquire your neighbors' money!
Sneakiness! Play a BUMP, SUPER BUMP, or BUMP BACK card and
surprise your neighbors out of their money!
Objective:
To be the first player to obtain $10,000 worth of Money Chips.
