English Volley Game Description:

• Reinforces knowledge of prepositions for intermediate grade students and ESL (English as a Second Language ) adults using an exciting volleyball simulation format.

• Players alternately 'serve' questions from one of 4 sets of story cards and 'return' the answers.

• Covers prepositional phrases; propositions after verbs; and prepositions after nouns, adjectives, and participles.

• Each set of cards, when assembled numerically from 1-48, tells a story, original or adapted from multi-cultural folk tales.

• Accommodates ten players, five on each side. if there are more than ten players, the ones not in the original lineup can be rotated in whenever the team rotates.  If there are fewer than ten, the players can each be given an extra position, or positions, to cover.
