Game Description:
Forget flash cards! Learn multiplication
the fun way! Each player multiplies with jumbo 10-sided dice. Avoid the
goose eggs, or you'll be sitting out. This game is ideal for anyone
practicing their multiplication tables.
ROLL ‘EM & WIN!
It takes SPEED, because you have ONLY two 30 second rounds to
roll the multiples of your number (1-9), call out the multiplications
and
cover the answers found on your number board.
ROLL ‘EM & WEEP!
It takes LUCK, because in rolling three GOOSE EGGS (0,0,0)
you are EGGED right out of the game!
The game SCRAMBLED EGGS, found on the backside of each
number board, and is designed for those who want to bolster their
multiplication skills. Again with the two dice, two 30 second rounds,
players will either be covering up their answers on the bottom row,
or advancing their markers upwards to adjoining open answers to
get to the top of the pile.
THE BENEFITS:
With individual boards the students can practice their multiplication on
one particular number.
Playing alone, kids can challenge themselves against the timer.
The numbers on the JUMBO dice can be easily read, can readily
be picked up and have a great feel to them.
An ANSWER KEY is designed into the GOOSE EGG boards
for students just learning their multiplications. Without the key,
the student multiplies the number he represents by the number rolled
on the di and calls out the answer. Using the answer key, the student
can match the number rolled on the di with the number on the top
of the diamond to see and call out the answer just below it.
Students will be learning by hearing, seeing and touching or covering
up answers! This multisensory approach to learning, plus the repetition
is great for learning multiplication. Fast, fun and much better than
flashcards.
