Homophones Quizmo Game Description:

Homophones are defined as words that sound alike, are spelling differently, and have different meanings. (principle-principal, etc.) Among the four levels of play, this game provides practice with 140 homophone pairs or 280 vocabulary words. Calling cards feature the two words in the homophone pair used in sentences with the correct answers in parentheses after the sentence.

OBJECTIVE:
By playing Homophone Quizmo students will:
1. Increase word recognition
2. Build listening, speaking, and writing vocabularies
3. Increase awareness that may cause problems in writing
