HOW TO PLAY - JURASSIC JUMBLE
- GAME
RULES
To start, create a deck using one complete
dinosaur (9 cards)
for each player, add the Fake Bone Card and the Paleontologist Card,
then shuffle well. Place 1 less latex bone than the number of players
in the center of the table.
Deal out all the cards
NOTE : Each player will have 9 cards EXCEPT for the two players
immediately after the dealer, who will each have 10 cards
(one more card to work with)
Once the cards have been dealt, the dealer starts by offering the first
trade.
To trade, simply announce the number of cards you wish to trade, and
exchange them, face down, with any other player who accepts your trade
with the same number of cards.
You may trade with anyone at any time provided you follow these rules.
- Trades must have equal numbers of
cards. (i.e. 3 cards for 3 cards) .
- Trades are made face down (so
the cards are hidden) .
- Trades must be composed of either
the same dinosaur (same point value) , or the same bone
(same color) .
- The Fake Bone and/or the
Paleontologist may be traded by themselves, or attached to any other
legal trade.
- You may not trade once you have
picked up a bone.

Points, Scoring & Winning
The goal of the game is to
trade your cards until you have a complete
dinosaur.
As soon as the first person completes a dinosaur, s/he grabs a bone from
the middle of the table. Afterwards, everyone may grab a bone,
regardless
of the cards in their hand
Remember
: once the first bone is taken, grab a bone, as it is the only way
to gain points that hand

Special
Card - Fake Bone
The Fake
Bone Card is worthless.
It does not help you to build a dinosaur AND it will cost you points.
Get rid of it as quickly as possible, as the Fake Bone will cost you
50 points if it is in your hand at the end of the round.
The Fake Bone may be traded by itself, or attached to any other legal
trade.
The Paleontologist Card can act as a wild card, replacing any
bone
to complete your dinosaur. If you use him to go out, he is a good guy
and does not count against you. But, if he is in your hand at the
end of the round and you did not go out, then the Paleontologist
will cost you 50 points.
The Paleontologist may be traded by itself or attached to any other
legal trade.
Summary
- Include a full dinosaur per
person.
- Deal out all the cards.
- Trade until the first person
completes his/her Dinosaur and grabs a bone.

remaining bones.
