HOW TO PLAY
MAD LIBS
MAD ROLL DICE
GAME- GAME
RULES
Availability: Usually
ships within 24 hours
OBJECT:
Build hilarious
sentences with words on the dice rolled. Use more words and
sentences than your opponents and WIN!
BEFORE YOU
START:
Decide how many
rounds you will play. 8 - 12 rounds is a good number for four
players.
As part of the MAD
LIBS fun, each of you must make your Mad Libs FIBs - that is
"Fill-in-the-Blanks." Write down a noun, verb, adjective and
adverb of your choice - the zanier the better! Make sure these are
all plural so they match in play. You'll substitute these if you
use a dice with the blank facing up.
Place all 16 dice
in the dice-holder and give it a vigorous shake. Be sure all dice
settle into the grid in the "dice-holder." Now flip the timer over.
All players play at once.
PLAYING:
Use the words on
the dice to write sentences on your sheet of paper. Make sure the
words are adjacent to - or diagonally connected to - one another.
When you have a
blank dice, write in the Mad Lib FIB that you had chosen for that part
of speech.
When the timer
shows that three minutes has passed, score your work.
SCORING:
You get a point for
each word in a complete sentence that you create. The player with
the longest sentence in a round gets a 2 point bonus. Remember
that you cannot use the same word more than once in a sentence, but you
may use that word again in any other sentence that you create.
After you score
your work, you must read each sentence that you have created! BE
READY TO LAUGH!
Advanced Players
- Rule of Plagiarism
Advanced players
may choose the RULE OF PLAGIARISM. Players do not score any
sentence that is exactly like another player's. This is guaranteed
to produce some wild scoring!
