This multilevel game grows with children as they develop basic
skills!
Little Planner is a delightfully colorful,
multi-level game series for 1 - 4 children, ages 3 - 7. It teaches
children to recognize attributes of shapes and colors and to
discriminate visually and tactually (by feel). Using textured wood
geometric shapes in 5 colors, children cover, match and build diagrams
and designs that are increasingly challenging on a series of puzzle
boards.
Beginning with the simple concept of
color/shape matching, a child progresses through the various game
experiences until he or she is able to build complex designs by
following a reduced scale drawing on a picture plan card.
The small drawings on the picture plan
cards prompt children to mentally project a finished picture in actual
size. Little Planner incorporates both competitive and cooperative
play activities for small groups.
