Mattix Game Description:
Mattix the game of Positive and Negative Numbers!
A mind stimulating
game that combines strategy and problem solving with two levels of play.
One of the two players moves horizontally, the other vertically using
basic math operations. The game begins with number tiles covering the
board except for one star tile. Player 1 takes the highest valued number
tile in the row of the star and replaces the number tile with the star.
Player 2 must then remove the highest valued number tile in the column
of the star and replace his tile with the star. The game ends when all
tiles have been removed or no more tiles can be taken. Each player adds
his tiles to determine the winner.
Educational Aim:
The players use
strategic planning to collect the most points and in turn, win the game!
