Numeracy Building Whole Numbers Fluency Game Description:

Numeracy - Building Whole Number Fluency provides five challenging ,
high interest games that build computational fluency with whole numbers.
Ranging from simple to complex, these games constitute an indispensable
learning aid through grades 2 and up. 
 
In it’s most simple form Make Ten, second graders can make a sum
of 10 using 2 tiles. Games progressively add operations. In ALL-OPS,
upper grade students combine three tiles to result in multiples of 10 using
any combination of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, squaring,
or square roots. 
 
Players may choose from mental computation, calculators or paper
and pencil to compute the best plays.

- express mathematical relationships using equations
- develop fluency in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing whole numbers
- develop fluency with basic number combinations for multiplication and division and use these combination to mentally compute related problems

- select appropriate methods and tools for computing with whole numbers from mental computation with whole numbers from mental computation, estimation, calculators and paper and pencil according to the context and nature of the computation and use the selected method of tool.
