Game Description:

Familiar photo images and words build language arts skills and reinforce conceptual learning. Match Me® Cards engage children’s matching, memory, and word/picture recognition skills. Includes child-pleasing, easy-to-follow activities. 52 two-sided cards, 3" x 3 7/8" each, in a sturdy storage box.

Set includes six fun and easy-to-follow activities:

Naming Fun: Stack both sets of the Match Me® Cards into one pile.  Have fun going through each card and telling what the picture is.  Check your answers on the backs of the cards.  Once you know all of them, you are ready to play the rest of these games!

Match Two: Lay out all the cards, pictures facing up.  Match each picture with the picture that shows the opposite.

Picture and Word Match: Sort the cards into the two sets of opposites.  Turn one set picture side up and the other set word side up.  Match each picture to the word that means the opposite.  Now switch the piles and try again.

Words Up: Sort the cards into the two sets of opposites.  Turn all cards, pictures facing down.  Match each word to the word that means the opposite.

PLAY THE FOLLOWING GAMES WITH TWO OR MORE FRIENDS!

Opposites Attract: Shuffle all of the cards.  Deal five cards to each player.  Place the remaining cards in a draw pile.  Take turns drawing a new card from the draw pile to make opposite pairs with the cards in your hand.  When the draw pile is gone, the player with the most opposite pairs wins.

Go Fish for Opposites: Shuffle all the cards.  Deal five cards to each player.  Place the remaining cards in a draw pile.  Players may either ask another player for a matching opposite card or draw a card from the draw pile.  When the draw pile is gone, the player with the most opposite pairs wins.

Includes:

  • 52 Two-Sided Opposites Cards

  • Match Photos, Words, or Both
