Game Description: Fun Strategy Games

Pushing and shoving are the key words in this clever version of X's
and O's. Opposing players attempt to form a line of 5 cubes by taking
a perimeter cube and then replacing it by pushing the open line from
the end of the row. Its fast and furious fun.

THIERRY CHAPEAU
Author and Artist

At the beginning of the 90s, the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg
offers its students a new course: the Games Workshop. Thierry
Chapeau, originally from Paris, chose to follow the course even though
it was fairly far removed from his main training, graphic illustration.
Without any previous experience in this field, but logical through and
through (he comes from a scientific background), Thierry tried to create
a simple game from a simple element, and he became obsessed by the
idea of a continually changing game board.

How To Play - Quixo Game - Game Rules

He defined what he wanted to do - based on a known concept,
offer unending surprises and turnarounds in the situation through
movement. The fitting together of cubes with broken edges was to
provide the key to his project. QUIXO was born, initialized under
the name CUBES. It is therefore the fruit of the final study year of a
24-year-old student.

It is thanks to him, for the first and only time to date, that a Frenchman
has joined the small club of authors published by Gigamic
(an international club if ever there was - Swiss, British, Belgian,
German, American and Italian, but none of them have a compatriot so
far). Ever since QUIXO, Thierry Chapeau has been playing about with
other games ideas, always based on the search for that extra something
which will make it original. But his real job is artistic creation in the
marvelous world of children's stories.
He's up to his third book!
