Skybridge
Game
Description:
The sky is the
limit in this 3-D architecture strategy project. Use your 2 and 3
story building blocks to build towers, use the bridges to connect
adjacent towers, and the roofs to determine to tower's owner. The
one who crowns the most structures wins the game.
Quick Play For 2 Players:
Each player is
given TWO sets of colored building blocks - 2 Bridges, 8 2-Story
building blocks, 8 3-Story building blocks, 4 roofs.
In turn, each
player positions ONE piece into play according to the following rules:
-
A piece must be
positioned into play at the LOWEST available level.
-
Two same color
pieces cannot be stacked on top of each other.
-
Once in play, a
piece cannot be moved.
-
Players must
play a different colored block each turn.
-
Blocks may be
stacked to any height.
-
Roofs may be
played at any time. A player becomes the owner of a tower on
which they have placed a roof. No other piece may be stacked
on top of a roof.
-
A player may
increase their score by using a bridge to connect 2 building towers.
Note: A bridge must be placed on 2 adjacent towers of the same
height. A bridge cannot be laid diagonally.
The game ends when
a player cannot add any more pieces into play. Scores are then
tallied by counting the total number of stories in their roof-crowned
towers and bridge connected towers, regardless of the color of the
blocks.
