Speedy Eddy
Game
Description:
Take turns, rolling the dice to help your
snail progress. Watch out for mole holes, dodge flying carrots,
and beware of the strong winds as your snails may lost its shell!
Without a shell on its back, your snail goes slower so use the two dice
with a touch of ingenuity to get a shell back on your snail and your
snail back in the race. And win the famous Speedy Eddy Trophy!

QUICK RULES
Object of the Game:
First snail to finish the race wins, with
or without a shell on its back.
Easy to Learn, Fun to
Play:
-
Each player chooses a snail from a
different color with its shell on and takes turns throwing the dice.
- The sum of the 2 dice combined indicates the number of squares the
snail has to move.
- If a snail does not have a shell on (see Special Square "Strong
Winds"), you move the body according to the number of squares indicated
on one die, and any free shell according to the number indicated on the
other die. The snail gets its shell back when body and shell end
up on the same square.
With the shell off its back, your snail
goes slower, so use each die individually and a touch of ingenuity to
get the shell back on your snail and your snail back on track.
The first snail (with or without a shell
on its back) to cross the finish line wins the game.
Special Squares:
-
Strong Winds
The shell has to be placed on the square whose number is
indicated, and body stays where it is.
-
Lucky Clover Fields
You throw the dice again.
-
Belt
You collect a belt chip. Give that chip back next time you
end up on a "Strong Winds" square and keep your shell on your back.
-
Mole Hole
The mole hole sends you to the square whose number is indicated
in the hole.
-
Salad Leaves
The snail stops for a snack. Only a matching pair of dice
will get you on your way again.
-
Flying Carrots
You just get knocked out by a flying carrot. You lose your
next turn.
