Have a ball learning phonics with these unique toss-and-learn phonics games! Children throw a self-stick ball at one of the adorably illustrated cloth game boards. Depending on where the ball lands - from "fishy" consonants to "popcorn" long vowels - children must identify what they've landed on, say it aloud, provide a rhyming word, or answer any of a dozen questions about it. Each set includes a double-sided cloth game board (letters on the front and pictures on the back), two self-stick game balls, and an activity-packed game guide. Each set of game boards features a fun theme. Whether angling for consonants in a sea of fish, or gobbling up popcorn or pizza as they identify vowel sounds, kids will enjoy this fun, kinesthetic approach to phonics practice!

The set includes two self-stick balls and a beautifully illustrated, double-sided cloth game board with long vowel word families on one side and colorful pictures on the other side.  As students toss and play, they practice important phonics skills.  In Showtime Long Vowels, students toss a ball and land on a word family (such as -ake).  Then they say a word that belongs to that word family or add a specified letter to the word family to make a word.  Use Long Vowels a Poppin' to have kids identify a picture (such as a seal), spell the word, say a rhyming word, and more.  Play indoors or outdoors with one child or a group of children.  Perfect for centers
