The Five Senses Game will provide early learners a fun introduction to the five senses and a means for developing a receptive and expressive vocabulary applicable to each sense. With very young children, provides lots of hands on sensory activates first, before using the game.

Talk about things around the house or in the classroom. Take nature walks and have children take note or different smells, textures, colors, etc. Have tasting sessions.

Review the picture game cards with the children to be sure that they know what each object is before actually playing the game. If children are unsure of the name of an object, show tem the actual object, discuss what is is used for, etc. Will help children retain the objects' names.
