The Travel Australia Game takes you
around the country on a fun
"Roadtrip" of never-ending adventures. The places are real, the
adventures
are real. It will bring back memories for those travellers who have done
it,
an excellent test of your current knowledge of Australia. When you
"sample
the dream" it will inspire you to travel and learn "what's out there"
when the
time comes for you to take the real journey of a lifetime.
The
game is used in Australian schools as part of the human Society and
Environment curriculum. The game is an exciting learning resource for
year 11 Tourism students for the Tourism and Hospitality course,
particularly when preparing for assessment task 1 in part B. The game is
now also used by TAFE Colleges for International Exchange Students as a
resource to learning the English Language.
As Australians we created this great game because of our desire to
showcase our country and all that it has to offer adventurous
Australians
and visitors from overseas.
Australians is a vast diverse and beautiful land, the idea of the Travel
Australia Board Game was to create a fun way to learn about this country
that we choose to live in, work in, play in and enjoy raising our
children in.
The game is based on real expectations, it contains what may actually be
encountered when you Travel Australia, and consists of great Aussie
humor, road safety messages, popular destinations and helpful tourist
information.
Clever strategies and smart thinking together with a good memory and
travel plan, makes this game a favorite that everyone loves to play, we
