Description:
Zip Around Basic Math Operations, uses more complex word problems
than Set A and includes all four operations.
Make word problems
come alive for the whole class! Each Zip Around card has four
questions corresponding to answers on other cards. Example:
If playing level 'A', the player who holds card number '1' would read
question 'A' aloud, " Who has two times this number, plus 20 more?"
The player whose card reads "I have 22" stands up, announces the answer,
and reads the level 'A' question printed on his or her card.
Questions and answers continue until cycle is completed. 32 cards
are included, each of four levels of difficulty.
Using games to teach and reinforce basci skills is a highly effective
way to motivate students to learn.
Example Card 1:
A) Who has two times this number, plus 20 more?
B) Who has eleven times this number, plus (10x2)?
C) Who has double this number plus double 15?
D) Five times this number squared, is what number?
